The most important derby for a long time
Earlier this week a work colleague was bemoaning Sunday's Norwich v Ipswich clash, describing it as the least tasty Derby Day he could remember. Needless to say he is not a Norwich fan.

Canaries are haunted by fundamental flaws
They don't do themselves any favours - these Norwich players. Following Saturday's battling victory against Nottingham Forest I got the impression that the team had healed quite a few wounds among the supporters.

Forget the apologies, do your talking on the pitch
Must win, crunch game, six-pointer, win at all costs, dare not lose - they are all ways to describe Norwich City's next league match on Saturday evening.

Empty seats a big concern
by David Powles
Forget the slipshod defending, an inability to build on a lead and Russell's needless sending-off - for me there was another worrying thing about Saturday's game against Preston - the sight of hundreds of empty seats.

City must find remedy for travel sickness
If anyone out there has something for travel sickness can they please do us all a favour and send it, as a matter of urgency, to Carrow Road and mark it for the attention of Mr G Roeder.

Strengthen the squad to find consistency
It's tiring being a Norwich fan at the moment and in the past week or so we must have experienced just about every single emotion under the sun. There was joy, happiness and euphoria during our 5-2 romp against Wolves, only to be followed by feelings of excited anticipation, disappointment, downright boredom, anger, relief, before finally joy during our last gasp 2-1 victory against Doncaster.

Canaries can take heart from Hull
It was a five-star performance from Norwich which not even the most optimistic of Canary fans could have seen coming - particularly off the back of another away defeat.

What a difference three years makes... not a lot
We're already a fifth of the way into the 2008/09 season and on the face of it many Canaries fans could be forgiven for thinking it's another case of déjà vu.

City must be dogs of war, not Andrex puppies
There may still be more than 70 days to go until Christmas but City have been in mightily generous mood of late - giving the impression that the season of goodwill to all men had come rather early this year.

Fans can help City bring back glory days
Home is where the heart is and so it should be - certainly as far as City are concerned. With full houses of about 25,000 almost every other week the Canaries have one of the best attendances in the entire Championship.

I should have known my confidence was misguided
After more than 20 years of following Norwich City, I suppose I really should have known better. Travelling to last night's game against QPR I was fully confident that we would follow up Saturday's victory by securing another three points at Carrow Road.

It's time to let football do the talking
City have not kicked a ball in anger during the two week international break but it has been one of the most talked about periods in the Carrow Road club's recent history.

Ownership issue must be settled for City to progress
We all lose our way every now and then - lose sight of our goals and ambitions and simply drift along. Whether it is someone who is stuck in a relationship they can't get out of, in a job they don't really want but can't be bothered to leave, or even a business struggling without ever pushing on.
