Lloyd Addison

Former Norfolk county councillor, restaurateur and founder of the city's popular Moveable Feast Lloyd Addison, has died aged 56 after battling Parkinson's Disease for a decade. Mr Addison and his wife, Cynthia, ran Lloyds Restaurant in London Street for 16 years, before retiring in 1998 due to Mr Addison's ill health.

Extreme sports athlete Angus Hutchison-Brown, was one of the UK's foremost BASE jumpers, but his life living on the edge came to an end after a jump in Switzerland went wrong.

Friends and colleagues have paid tribute to murder victim Claire Roberts, who they described as “kind and gentle” and possessing “a great enthusiasm for life”.

The 29-year-old court worker's body was found in John Stephenson Court, off Gertrude Road, in the north of the city.

Carl Goreham, of Friends Road, Norwich, became the third person in his family to die of a heart attack. The father-of-three died in his home on Thursday, March 27, leaving his wife of 21 years, Liz, and his sons, Danny, 15, George, 13, and three-year-old Kawski.

Tributes have been paid to a taxi driver who died after his vehicle was in a crash on the A47. Michael Ecclestone, 64, known as Mr Mouse to his friends because of his quiet demeanour, was killed when his car left the dual carriageway close to Postwick and overturned in a field.

Tributes have been paid to Norwich City's all-time record goalscorer, Johnny Gavin, who has died at the age of 79. The outside-right was a legend at Carrow Road scoring 132 goals in just 338 games during two spells with the club between 1949 and 1958.

Marc Ramsbotham was on the final lap of the Senior TT race over the 37-miles of public island roads when he crashed close to the 26-mile marker on the mountain section of the world-famous course on June 8 2007. Mr Ramsbotham, from Wymondham, died at the scene. Two spectators were also killed.

Darren Bonner died in Afghanistan on May 28 2007. The 31-year-old, nicknamed Big Daz, was killed when an explosion ripped through a British convoy in the Gereshk region of Helmand Province.

Richard Moore, 21, of Magdalen Close, Norwich, died on Thursday, 22 March 2007, from head injuries, 24 hours after being attacked at McDonald’s, in Haymarket, in the city centre. His pregnant girlfriend has told of her grief at losing her “perfect partner” — a month before the birth of their baby.

Jay Burns

Jay Burns was involved a horrific head on smash on his moped in May 2006 which left him unable to walk or talk. The 16-year-old was able to communicate with them by smiling and nodding his head and was reacting well to rehabilitation. However, on January 3, 2007, two weeks after hundreds of his friends raised £2,500 to pay for special equipment for him, he developed septicaemia and, two days later, died.

Mr Stimpson, a 33-year-old father of three, from Barrett Road, Lakenham, died instantly when his Peugeot 306 hit a Honda motorbike on the A140 towards Long Stratton. The motorcyclist, Robert Key, 23, from Hempnall, also died, while Mr Stimpson's two children Joshua, five, and Toby, four, were taken to hospital with head and leg injuries.

Mother-of-two Davina Riley, 29, died at the Rackheath home of her parents, Glen and David Grigor, almost a year after being diagnosed with neuro endocrine cancer of the cervix. Her husband Dominic told the Evening News how his wife inspired everyone with her battling spirit and her refusal to give in to her illness.

John Sewell died after being stabbed outside the Canary pub in Norwich the early hours of Saturday October 28. His parents described him as "fun-loving with a great sense of humour. He could be mischievous at times but everyone loved him. He will be sadly missed by everyone."

Paul Cavanagh, 30, of The Street, Rockland St Mary, near Norwich, died in December 2006 after being stabbed while working as a security guard at Chapelfield's HMV store. He was described by gamily as as a “wonderful, gentle, caring man who lived for his family and work”.

23-year-old Robert Key from Hempnall died in a crash on one of the county's most notorious stretches of road. Keep-fit fanatic Mr Key had been at the gym in De Vere Dunston Hall on Saturday evening when his motorcycle was in collision with a car. The car driver also died. Mr Key was born with brain damage and doctors thought he would never be able to walk or talk properly but he amazed family and friends by going on to lead a normal life.
