Father-of-two
Rikki Gardiner was killed in a car accident after attending
the funeral of his schoolfriend who died on the final day
of the Isle of Man TT races.
Mr Gardiner, 34, from Wymondham, was
driving home after attending the celebration of Marc Ramsbotham’s
life when car left the road on the A11 at Besthorpe.

Very sad to hear of the loss of Rikki today
at uch a young age. I went to school with Rikki at Wymondham
high school. This is such sad news in less than a month
of the loss of Marc Ramsbotham who was also in our class.
I always remember Rikki as being very quiet person and really
into his music. He had a cool hair cut and persuaded me
to paint my rucksack like his. Its very sad to hear of the
loss of another school friend and my thoughts are with his
wife and family at this time. rest in peace mate

Rik was a truly amazing guy, I spent most
of my Teenage years with him, writing musc and joining several
bands from 1989 - 2001 we'd spend tweaking with old bangers
& motorbikees to make them work better, we took great
Holidays together, I was his best man at his Wedding, I
am the Uncle of his Son Brett & the proud owner of all
the memories he has left with me, nobody can replace that,
thanks for the great times Rik, I miss you! Jim

you lived life to the full.
